Footnote :- Marion was another member of the Curness Clan that replied to my first batch of three letters that I sent out in 1995. In the late 1980s she had rung me at home after finding my name in the telephone book here in Sydney, and had given me her home address. She had been visiting her daughter Deborah, who was living in Sydney at the time after a stay in the U.K. At that stage it was unknown to the both of us that we were related in any way. It now turns out that her grandfather and mine were first cousins.
